CIRCUS SESSIONS
TORONTO

Five years ago, Holly Treddenick, artistic director of Toronto contemporary circus company Femmes du Feu, brought a group of international contemporary circus artists together for a week of exploration, collaboration, and creation and the first Circus Sessions was brought to life. Since then, this annual residency has grown to explore ideas of inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in the circus world, and now it is expanding to include a new format in a new home. New for 2019, Circus Sessions will span two weeks and feature international artists from the emerging and professional circus community. You are invited to join artists and mentors in a showing that will feature the week's explorations. Week Two will feature mentor Michelle Man (Spain/UK), working alongside 12 professional international artists including Coco Framboise!
